Watch Paul Eisen from medical technology company ResMed talk about the development of the company’s technology and products for the screening, treatment and long-term management of sleep-disordered breathing and other respiratory disorders.

Founded in 1989, the company today employs 2500 people. Listed here and in the US, its turnover tops $600 million a year, with 97% of revenue coming from exports. The global company has distributors in 65 countries.

Senior vice president Paul Eisen says that research has shown that about 7–8% of the world’s population suffer from some form of sleep-disordered breathing, or obstructive sleep apnea, which translates to hundreds of millions of potential customers.
