The Google zeitgeist

These days search engine Google is in a pretty good position to tell us what the people are interested in. Every day millions of searches reflect what’s hot and, by omission, what’s not.

With the end of the year coming, Google has reflected on what made this year special and releases its first annual Zeitgeist for Australia – the fastest rising and highest volume search terms that Australians have been typing into Google.com.au in 2007.
