Integrity, intelligence, persistence and discipline are the characteristics that define this entrepreneurial idol. At 37, Jeff Bonnes is the director of several internet start-ups. He has been the brains trust and backbone of the successful Find A Babysitter, an innovative and highly successful site started by Jeff (with his wife) in 2005. In 2006 Jeff joined forces with a VC to launch another internet start-up in the contract management space, providing software-as-a-service to help SMEs save, store and share documents efficiently. Through www.contractconnect.com Jeff has created a skilled team and has implemented cutting-edge development processes to build the software. This business is capturing the market and leading SMEs towards more modern, savvy business practices. In 2007 Jeff used his creative talents to (solely) build a “footy tipping style site” for Australian Idol (and other reality TV) fans, www.tvvoting.com . A light-hearted diversion, which Jeff used to master a new technical language (Grails). He has a constant thirst for learning! Friends and family also know that Jeff has an über calm and determined drive to work towards goals. It is not by accident that he has left the lucrative IT consulting life to forge on, take calculated risks and build new businesses.
