Microsoft to use 100% recycled paper
Microsoft says the move will save 8,000 trees a year, eight garbage truckloads of solid waste and five Olympic-sized swimming pools of waste water.
"This alliance enables us to conserve resources and reduce waste at a larger, corporate scale while at the same time allowing us to invest in our local economy," Rob Bernard, Microsoft chief environmental strategist, says.
Microsoft also says recycling from its Puget Sounds campus has halved its landfill waste.
