Nic Clark started consultancy firm 10X after deciding accountants needed to provide a more "proactive" approach to working with their clients.
Now the company, which recorded $3 million turnover during 2008-09, provides add-on business development divisions to accountancy firms in order to help them grow their practice and better service their clients.
"10X follows strict guidelines when selecting which accounting firms to work with, and only those committed to helping their local business communities are chosen. To date, 52 franchises have been sold across Australia and New Zealand."
While Clark says the business struggled with a mountain of work in preparing for the initial sale of 11 franchises, he maintains the company is now "revolutionising the accounting profession".
