Software giants Microsoft and Adobe have been listed as some of the world’s most ethical companies, according to a new survey conducted by Ethisphere.

The company’s annual list of ethical companies serves to prove which companies not only have more sustainable businesses, but how these companies’ policies translate into financial performance.

Microsoft, eBay and SalesForce were some of the companies listed in the unranked survey, with Adobe and T-Mobile added as well.

Google was not listed, despite the company’s motto of “don’t be evil”. It has appeared on the list in the past.

Microsoft has been pushing forward with its corporate philanthropy programs in the past few years, perhaps giving Ethisphere more reason to include it on the list.
