Beach outings are synonymous with ice cream and sandy sandwiches- but what if you could order pizza and have it delivered to your sun baking spot, all without interrupting your tan?
In the Netherlands, Domnio's Pizza has begun to deliver its products to outdoor sites including park benches and beaches. In fact, as long as they're within delivery range of a local Domino's, customers can have a pizza delivered pretty much anywhere, Dutch director of marketing André ten Wolde told Springwise.com.
The company has covered the city with white door shaped booths that can be used as ordering and delivery points, complete with a doorbell for the delivery person to ring.
The doors, designed by creative agency Indie Amsteradm, rely on the power of suggestion, and feature the company's logo and phone number prominently. They are targeted at summer crowds including tourists and students.
