Daniel Tzvetkoff, co-founder of internet billing company Intabill, shot to prominence in early 2008 when he paid $28 million for a house on the Gold Coast's most glamorous strip, Hedges Avenue. A few months later, BRW magazine valued Tzvetkoff and business parter Sam Sciacca at $120 million.
Intabill is an online payments company offering a range of services to online businesses, including payment processing, fraud minimisation, reporting and billing. Many of Intabill's clients are based in North America and Europe. But it appears the downturn has had some impact on the company, with reports that Intabill laid off a number of staff in April.
Work has also stopped on renovations at his Hedges Avenue mega-mansion, although Tzvetkoff says work will resume in June.
