The easiest way to connect up a new computer or hi-fi system is usually to ask a teenager. At 24, David Hancock is a little out of the age bracket, but not past his prime.
His company, Geeks2U, is now Australia's largest provider of onsite computer repairs and technology support. Hancock launched the company with one technician from his bedroom soon after leaving high school.
Now he employs 150 contractors nationwide in a business whose revenue has nearly doubled from last year. Hancock is about to bring on his first batch of fulltime "geeks" to service the 30,000 Australians the company has helped to date.
