After breaking up with a partner, Erica French started Fit2Date as a method for single, fit people to train and get to know each other. Having realised that a previous relationship or two had started through sports, she assumed other fitness-loving folk may find the same luck in an organised program.
The business works by signing up 16 people for a four week course, in which the participants train for one hour a week then go out for dinner and drinks afterwards.
The business operates in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, New York and London. French is now in the process of selling the licenses for the business in the latter two cities.
