iPhone App of the Week: TripIt

Entrepreneurs will be well familiarised with the pain of organising itineraries when travelling, especially if you happen to lose a few documents in the bustle of getting ready – the TripIt app is designed to make it all a little easier.

Users need to visit the TripIt site and set up a free account – it only takes a few minutes.

From there, whenever you receive a confirmation email from an airline, car rental or hotel, you simply forward the details to an @tripit.com email account, and the details show up automatically in the app.

When you open the app, your itinerary is displayed day-by-day, with all of your travel details divided into sections. The confirmation numbers, phone numbers and addresses of the places you're visiting are also displayed clearly, and you can make a quick phone call straight from the app as well.
