Our empowering entrepreneurs webinar has closed. If you missed out you can view the webinar below.

Being an entrepreneur is hard work. The journey can be filled with risk, stress, excitement and pride at various points in time – it’s smooth sailing for some and a roller-coaster for the ill-prepared or unlucky. Our speakers share their tales of starting a business from scratch, where they found support, and pass on tips that will empower entrepreneurs, from getting your idea off the ground through to the challenges of being a leader.

Speakers

Andre Eikmeier, co-founder and joint CEO, Vinomofo

Andre Eikmeier is an entrepreneur, co-founder and joint CEO of Vinomofo, one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies and a leader in innovation, disruption and culture.

Vinomofo launched in April 2011 from a little garage in Adelaide and has since grown quickly and profitably to a run rate of over $50m revenue, 500,000 members and a team of more than 100.

Adam Schwab, co-founder, Lux Group

Adam Schwab, 36, was a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions at one of Australia’s largest legal firms before becoming a founding director of privately owned corporate accommodation and services group, Living Corporate Apartments. In 2010, Adam founded the Lux Group with Jeremy Same.

The business now has 15 brands under its umbrella, including Luxury Escapes, Brands Exclusive and Living Social and had a turnover of $299 million in FY2016 and has more than 400 staff globally. Lux Group was #1 in the 2013 BRW Fast 100 list (on the Fast 100 Lists 2014 and 2015).
