In 1997, no one was interested in servicing the IT mid market. David Brennan set out to create a business that catered specifically for the needs of small and medium businesses by providing them with a complete range of IT and telecommunication solutions that met their requirements rather than selling them expensive computer systems.

The company made $1 million revenue by 1998, but by 2000 suffered severe cash flow problems and learnt to work closely with clients to educate them on trading terms.

Now revenue is $36 million and Brennan is planning to grow by between 30% to 40% a year to become the preminent IT provider to the mid market in three years. The focus is now on hosting applications, storage and virtualisation, managed services and application development.
