What is a SmartCompany Webinar?

SmartCompany Webinars are online events designed so that industry experts can easily present, train and demonstrate information to Australia’s business owners and managers. Attendees can engage with presenters in real-time through the use of polling and Question and Answer session on predetermined topics.

How do I join a SmartCompany Webinar?

Joining a SmartCompany Webinar is easy. When you receive a Webinar email invitation, click the registration link and register for the Webinar. You can then join the Webinar at the scheduled time by clicking the “Join a Webinar” button or link in your confirmation email, which will be automatically sent to you after registering. You will also be given a toll free number to dial in to listen to the presenter.

What are the system requirements for attending a SmartCompany Webinar?

Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, Netscape Navigator 6.0 or later or Mozilla Firefox 1.0 or later
Windows® 2000, XP Home, XP Pro, 2003 Server or Vista
Stable 56k, cable modem, ISDN, DSL or better Internet connection
Minimum of Pentium 400 with 256 MB of RAM (Recommended)
Java Virtual Machine enabled (Recommended)

Can Mac users join a SmartCompany Webinar?

Yes, Macintosh® users can attend Webinars.

Do I need a GoToWebinar account to join a SmartCompany Webinar?

No. You do not need to have a GoToWebinar account to register for and join a SmartCompany Webinar. You also do not need to pre-install any software prior to joining a SmartCompany Webinar. You participate as a guest of the SmartCompany, at no cost to you.

If I can’t attend a live Webinar, will a recording be made available?

Yes. All SmartCompany Webinars will be recorded for on demand viewing.  A list of archived Webinars can be found on the SmartCompany Webinar Archive page.
