Products for purpose
This month’s guest: Marty Andrews, Co-Founder & CEO of Chargefox, Australia’s first sustainable electric vehicle (EV) charging network.
Products for Purpose:
A feel-good monthly breakfast series hosted by Cogent
On the first Thursday each month, we’ll be speaking to people making some of the most interesting digital products in Australia, with a focus on social or environmental impact.
In December, we’ll be joined by Marty Andrews, Co-Founder and CEO of Chargefox, Australia’s first and largest ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging network, completely powered by renewable energy. In 2018, Marty and his co-founders created Chargefox with a mission to leave a cleaner planet for their children, and future generations of Australians. Marty has helped lead Chargefox through private, state and federal government fundraises, raising over $17m to build the first phase of charging infrastructure. True to his mission, all Chargefox owned stations are backed by green power, including solar. As a regular speaker at cleantech and industry events, Marty has a vision that one day 100% of road transport will be powered by renewable energy, and is using Chargefox as a way to connect Australia to a cleaner future.
Come along for a coffee and croissant, and hear how Chargefox is helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions via it’s EV charging network and associated software.
Date: Thurs 5th December, 2019
Time: 8am – 9am (please arrive in time for an 8.15am start)
