Small business owners work harder than most, according to a new survey from American public opinion group Rasmussen Reports.
Conducted in the United States, the survey shows over 70% of adults think small business owners work harder than government employees, corporation employees and CEOs.
The research also shows that individuals working for corporations are seen to work harder than government employees – 45% of respondents say corporate leaders work harder, while 34% believe government workers put in the hard yards.
Income brackets prove to be a factor; workers earning $US40,000 to $US50,000 think government employees work harder by a 50% to 30% margin, while adults earning over $US100,000 think CEOs work harder by a 67% to 19% margin.
