Lorna Jane Clarkson, the entrepreneur behind the activewear brand of the same name, has grown the brand into a network of 200 stores covering 14 countries.
Clarkson left her job as an aerobics instructor to launch the brand in 1990 alongside her husband Bill. Since last year, the company has seen a revenue increase of nearly $100 million to $280 million.
While the activewear space has become increasingly competitive in recent years, Lorna Jane continues to attract plenty of loyal fans online; the brand hit 1.1 million likes on Facebook in 2017 and Lorna Jane Clarkson herself currently reaching 194,000 followers through Instagram.
Meanwhile, the company recently won a two-year legal case against a former employee who claimed it was behind the psychiatric consequences of being bullied in the workplace.
