8 Yenda Lee
Despite its large trade and 60-year company presence, electronic retailer Bing Lee continues to be run as a family business, Yenda Lee says.
“Along with my son Lionel and a wonderful team of dedicated people, we continue to run Bing Lee as a family business,” she says in a statement on the company website.“The principles with which we established the business all those years ago remain as important today as they did back then.”
Yenda and Lionel Lee now manage the retailer’s direction, with Yenda as a board member and Lionel chief executive. The company was founded by Yenda’s late husband Ken Lee and his father Bing Lee back in 1957.
In the past, the business has formed sponsorship agreements with Netball NSW, the Sydney Swans and Sydney FC.
