Breakfast business mixes it up
Monday, December 20, 2010/
Breakfast, as we’re often told, is the most important meal of the day, but many people still fail to take the time to eat something in the morning.
However, an Australian-based business has sought to shake up the way we eat breakfast. Mix My Muesli allows you to customise your muesli mix.
Customers go online and choose from a selection of healthy, hand-picked ingredients, most of which are 100% natural with no added sugar or preservatives.
A label stating the ingredients you’ve selected, the exact nutritional facts of your custom-made muesli mix, and a unique mix ID, is pasted on the contained. This allows you to re-order your favourite custom mix without having to put it all together again.
The inside of the container is food grade aluminium-coated, designed to keep your muesli fresh and dry.
But why should the customisation craze be limited to muesli? You could take this concept and apply it to any number of foods and deliver them in an easy way to time-poor consumers.
