Dogs’ temporary tattoos make their mark

Forget diamond-studded collars – what a posh pooch really wants is sparkly ink.

New York-based celebrity dog groomer Jorge Bendersky accessorises clients’ short-haired dogs with temporary tattoos.

The options have grown as the pet industry brings more pet-friendly glitter to the market, he says. The temporary tatt process starts at $100 and takes 30 minutes.

While the thought of branding your pet with a temporary tattoo probably sounds preposterous, it does highlight how far people will go to make their pooch stand out from the pack.
