Entrepreneurs will probably have quite mixed feelings about the Easter break. Holidays are always welcome, but losing up to three selling days in a five-day period is not something that sits easy with everyone.
Â
But don’t let these worries spoil your extra long weekend. This is a perfect time to recharge the batteries, reset your goals and priorities and launch into the next part of the year.

So don’t think about work for a good three days.
Â
Relax with your family, re-connect with your friends. Get some exercise, read a book (not your financial books!) and generally enjoy yourself.
Â
This is really important time to let your mind drift to other important things that your all-consuming business doesn’t give you time to think about it.
Â
Next Monday or Tuesday, if you really must, spend an hour or two thinking about how your business has gone in the first four months of the year.
Â
What has worked? What hasn’t? What things haven’t you got around to?
Â
Has your list of goals changed since the start of the year? If so, how do you need to articulate this to your team?
Â
And finally, dedicate some time to your value proposition. Does it still work? Does it need to be refined?
Â
If you don’t get this stuff done over the Easter break, don’t sweat it. It’s a short week next week, so a bit of reflection in what is likely to be a quiet period will be most welcome.
Â
Your most important tasks from me this Easter are easy – relax, recharge and eat lots of chocolate.
Get it done – this weekend!
