Since launching in March 2015, more than 200 innovative Australian products and startups have been featured on Product Hoist – showcasing a flourishing Australian startup ecosystem.


Here is StartupSmart’s round-up of the five most popular Aussie startups on Product Hoist from May.


1. GoFar


Go Far provides real-time feedback to help you drive more efficiently and safely. It has been in development for the past three years and has recently raised over $200,000 on crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. GoFar is like a wearable for your car: plug the dongle into your car and track your fuel efficiency and driving performance.


2. Prezentt


This is a live slide-sharing app that enables presenters to connect with their audiences during their presentation. Prezentt’s platform allows the presenter to answer questions from the audience during and after the presentation and provides analytics to measure engagement.


3. CoinJar


CoinJar allows you to spend bitcoin at any ATM. It recently launched a swipe card, similar to any other EFTPOS card that allows their customers to spend bitcoins in their CoinJar wallet just as they would any other currency.


4. Open Source Seed Financing Documents


Although not a startup itself, this is a collaborative effort led by Sparke Helmore Lawyers, Airtree Ventures and Blackbird Ventures to help startups spend less time and money on the legal and financing process when they are looking to raise money. The concept proved popular amongst the Product Hoist community.


5. Buzzy Tasks


Outsource your to-do list. Buzzy Tasks is a Perth startup that recently launched out of Perth startup with the aim of competing against companies like Airtasker, allowing people or businesses to get tasks done by a trusted community looking to make some extra cash.
