This won’t be hard to do with sales staff, but think about ways to connect admin staff or the production team to your customers.
- Bring them to customer meetings.
- Send them out on customer visits.
- Have samples of stuff produced by your customers around the office.
- Take your team on an excursion and visit as many customers you can in a day.
The point is to show your staff that what they do each day – from answering the phone to billing – contributes not just to your business, but to the business of your customers.
