Sources told TechCrunch the deal was worth around $50 million.

Namo Media will close down its standalone operation and integrate into the Twitter-owned MoPub platform, the startup said in a blog post announcing the move.

“At Twitter, we’ll continue to work on building the best native advertising platform for app developers with the goal of continuing to improve the native ad landscape for all mobile developers,’’ Namo Media says.

“Combining our technology with MoPub will offer our current and future customers a more powerful platform to generate revenue, all while preserving an amazing user experience.”

Another OpenSSL vulnerability discovered

A researcher has uncovered another serious vulnerability in the OpenSSL cryptographic library.

It allows attackers to decrypt and modify web, email and virtual private network traffic protected by the transport layer security protocol.

The TLS bypass exploits only works when traffic is sent or received by a server running OpenSSL 1.0.1 and 1.0.2-beta1.

People who administer servers running OpenSSL should update as soon as possible.
