Many apps send a crash report to its developers when an unexpected error or bug causes a crash.
In the case of Firefox, there’s a quick way to read what each of these crash reports contain.
Especially if you maintain a website that appears to cause Firefox to crash unexpectedly, this is important information. Here’s how to find it.
First, go to the URL bar and type in “about:crashes”. This will bring up a long list of all the crash reports sent from your copy of Firefox. Each contains a unique “report ID” as well as the date the crash happened.
Clicking on one of the report IDs will bring up the full details of that crash, including a list of related known Firefox bugs associated with the crash.
