A Swedish technology company has unveiled the world’s first laptop computer controlled by the human eye, bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase “keeping an eye on it”.
The computer, developed by Stockholm-based Tobii Technology, allows users to switch between windows and scroll through documents simply by blinking.

Because the system knows exactly where the user is looking on the screen, it enables users to zoom in, centre images, switch between windows and scroll through documents.
According to the company, using our eyes to point, select and scroll is intuitive and complements traditional control interfaces, such as the mouse and keyboard, in a very natural way.
