Few Outlook users know about the feature to create rules, which tell Outlook to automatically carry out a set of instructions on certain kinds of messages.

For instance, you may want Outlook to automatically do something with an email newsletter you regularly receive, like forward it to a particular friend, or file it away in a specific folder.

To do so, open Outlook, and then in the top ribbon, click on “rules”. There, click on “create rule”.

There are a lot of options there, but you’ll be able to figure out anything you want with just a few clicks.
