Keep your computer in working order
Thursday, September 30, 2010/
Computers are the lifeblood of any business – you’ll be doing most of your day-to-day work on them and your staff will be as well. Keeping them up-to-date and in order is crucial.
Here are some tips for keeping your computers running as smoothly as possible:
- Download cleaning agents like CCleaner and make it company policy to run daily or weekly updates. These types of programs search for unused registry files and can often dump a lot of junk for more disk space.
- Download antivirus checkers such as SpyBot. Keep those viruses off and away from your network.
- Make sure Windows Updates are turned on so you’re constantly keeping your operating system in check and up-to-date.
- Look on the Microsoft website on how to use Flash USB drives to boost your system speed using ReadyBoost.
