Open new folders in new windows
Tuesday, August 30, 2011/
Browsing through Windows file systems can be a bit daunting at times, especially if you aren’t used to the interface. And many times you’ll click through so many folders, you’ve lost your starting point.
But there’s a way to ensure this doesn’t open, by opening all new folders in new windows, rather than the same window.
To do so, open the Control Panel, and then open Folder Options. In the pop-up screen, be sure to click the “Open each folder in its own window” option.
After that, each new folder you open will have its own window.
