Turn off read receipts on your Apple iPhone

/Read receipts can be useful, but most of the time they’re intrusive and strange. Thankfully, you can turn them off.
To do so, head to the Settings app, then click on the “messages” tab. There, you can choose to “send read receipts” on or off, while you can also change various other settings related to messages as well.
