Simon Carson is the general manager of TrueLocal, the online business listing directory. His favourite piece of tech is made by Apple, but it isn’t one of the company’s most popular gadgets. In fact, Steve Jobs used to say this was Apple’s “hobby” – it’s the Apple TV.
“I’ve actually got the older version, the original, the one that has a hard drive in it. I like it because I can leave about a hundred kids’ television shows in it for my two young kids, and it’s easy to just pop something on for them.”
“The ability to rent movies is good too. I watch television shows or movies at the last minute, and the Apple TV makes it convenient.”
