The humble Swiss Army knife is set for an upgrade, with an upgraded one terabyte version unveiled at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show.

While this is not the first time a USB stick has been found alongside more traditional fold-out tools, such as bottle openers or nail scissors, the Victorinox SSD marks the first time the storage offered has exceeded 128 GB.

Swiss Army knife maker Victorinox also revealed a slim USB 3.0 version at CES.

According to TechWorld Europe, the company claims that USB is important to their “everyday survival” market.
