Apple has released a software update for its Apple TV service after a number of users complained their content was being deleted without permission from the device.
The Apple TV device, which can be “synced” with a user’s iTunes library similar to an iPod or iPhone, connects to a television and features the ability to watch media files as well as browse the iTunes Store.
But following the release of the 3.0 software for Apple TV, many users complained their data was being erased. But Apple has swiftly replied with a new patch.
“There is an issue with Apple TV software version 3.0 that can possibly cause your content to disappear after a period of time. All customers running Apple TV software version 3.0 should immediately restart their Apple TV and then upgrade to Apple TV software version 3.0.1.”
